Does the cross that you're bearing seem heavy,

Are you feeling discouraged and low?

Look up, look out, and around you ~

There are blessings wherever you go.

 

There is warmth and comfort in sunshine,

There is joy in the song of a bird,

There is peace in the twinkling starlit sky,

There is strength in God's wonderful Word.

 

When your heart is filled with His presence,

With the gladness His blessings give,

Others will find enrichment, too,

Because of the way that you live.

 

The more you spread your joy around,

The greater your life will be ~

God's love will shine from your face

For all the world to see.
