A small boy
who attended Sunday School for the first time was greatly
pleased with a picture card which was given him. On it was
written the text, "Have faith in God."
On his way home,
the precious card slipped from his fingers and fluttered from
the open bus window. Immediately a cry of distress arose: "I
have lost my faith in God! Stop the
bus!"
The good-natured
driver signaled, the bus stopped, and the card was recovered
while the passengers smiled.
How wise it
would be if older people would call a halt when they
find themselves rushing ahead on some road without faith in
God!
